Mr. K. A. Chaukar joined the Board of Tata Petrodyne Limited as a Director in March 2005.

Mr. Chaukar, was the Managing Director of Tata Industries Limited (TIL) upto August 2012, is a post-graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmadabad. TIL is one of the two principal holding companies of the Tata Group, India’s largest and best known conglomerate. TIL acts as the diversification and new projects-promotion arm of the Group, and spearheads the entry of the Group in the emerging high-tech and sunrise sectors of the economy. In his capacity as Managing Director of TIL, Mr. Chaukar’s responsibility was for enhancing the value and the interest of TlL in TIL-promoted companies. One of the tasks performed in the quest for this value enhancement was to provide strategic direction to these companies. Mr. Chaukar is a member of the Group Corporate Centre, which is engaged in strategy formulation at the Tata Group. He is on the Board of various Tata companies likeTata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited, Tata Communications Limited, among others. Mr. Chaukar also served as chairman of Tata council for community initiatives (TCCI). – the nodal agency of the Group on all matters related to social development, environmental management, bio-diversity restoration and conservation of wild life.

Mr. Chaukar was previously the Managing Director of ICICI Securities & Finance Company Limited from July 1993 to October 1998, and a member of the Board of Directors of ICICI Limited from February 9, 1995 to October 15, 1998. His other experiences include stints in Bhartiya Agro Industries Foundation, a Public Trust engaged in rural development on a no-profit no-loss basis and based in Pune, Maharashtra, and Godrej Soaps Limited.

Mr. F.N. Subedar

Mr. Subedar has been inducted as a Director on the Board of Tata Petrodyne Limited in March 2005.

Mr. Subedar is currently the Chief Operating Officer &Company Secretary of Tata Sons Limited, the holding company of the Tata Group and personally supervises the finance, legal, secretarial and IPR functions of the Company. Mr. Subedar has been directly involved in structuring the corporatisation of Tata Consultancy Services and concluded IPO of the company. Besides, in his present position in the Company, he is involved in formulating Group policies and advising Group companies on accounting, taxation and legal issues. He also functions as Director on the Boards of several Tata Companies. In December 2016, Mr. Subedar was also appointed as Director of Tata Industries Ltd.

He is currently Senior Vice President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of its taxation committee.

Mr. Subedar is a Chartered Accountant, having articled with M/s S.B. Billimoria & Company, Chartered Accountants. He is also a qualified Company Secretary.

 
Mr. Arjun Arora
A K Arora Mr. Arora has joined Tata Petrodyne Limited as Non-Executive Director in September 2010. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Delhi University. Thereafter he completed Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Refining & Petrochemicals from Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun in 1965. Mr. Arora has over 50 years experience in the hydrocarbons sector.

Mr. Arora worked, for over 12 years, as Director General of Petroleum Federation of India (PetroFed), an industry body representing India’s petroleum sector, upto September, 2015. Prior to heading PetroFed, Mr. Arora retired as a whole time Director on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation Limited in March 2003. During his over 8 years tenure as Director (Refineries), Mr. Arora has been acknowledged for his contribution towards steering the Refineries Division during its expansion phase & all round growth. At Indian Oil, besides being the Director (Refineries), Mr. Arora held the positions of Director Pipelines, Director R&D and Director In-charge of the Assam Oil Division.
 
Mr. D K Pande
Mr. D K Pande Mr. D K Pande is a Non-executive Director of Tata Petrodyne Limited.

Mr. Pande, Ex-Director (Exploration), ONGC has more than 30 years of experience in hydrocarbon exploration as Basin Analyst, Field Operational Manager and Exploration Manager. His journey from a young graduate trainee in 1976 from Punjab University, Chandigarh to the high office of Exploration in ONGC has been remarkable.

As Director (Exploration) ONGC, he ably directed the overall exploratory & development activities in acreages held by ONGC all over India, and guided the R&D institutes of ONGC under Exploration Directorate in their efforts to provide technical support to exploration / exploitation activities of ONGC. He also provided guidance in evaluating the overseas acreages for ONGC-Videsh Limited.

During the last three decade, he has covered all the facets of exploration: Data Analyst in KDMIPE and GEOPIC, Field Operations in Assam and Exploration Manager in Frontier Basin and Western Offshore Basin. He was programme implementer of ONGC’s deep water Project “Sagar Samriddhi”- largest campaign by a single operation worldwide before he took over as Director(E), ONGC.

His contribution to the field of hydrocarbon exploration has always been innovative and path breaking. His thought provoking ideas opened up new vistas in Ravva Field of East Coast. His advocacy on exploration for deeper plays have led to discovery of oil in basal clastics in Assam, new hydrocarbon fairways in Panna Formation in Mumbai and Cretaceous prospectivity in KG offshore. It was his innovative idea of multi-cyclic deposition in Bassein Formation that led to the discovery of multi-layered nature of Bassein reservoir.He was also instrumental in discovery of ‘Shale Gas’ in India and ‘Sub basalt Oil’ in Mesozoics of Western offshore basin.

Mr. Pande was the Operational Manager and Deputy Leader of the 4th Indian Expedition to Antartica. He was the first Indian to hoist the Indian tricolour on Antarctica, besides establishing ‘Maitree’ - the National Camp of the country. He was also the Deputy Leader of the first Indian Trans-Himalayan Motor Expedition- a great pioneering feat that involved one of the toughest journeys from Leh in Kashmir to Pangsu Pass on the Indo-Burmese border.

Mr. Pande has been an invited Speaker/Delegate to various international fora, like the International Geological Congress at Moscow and the World Petroleum Congress. His extraordinary managerial skills led him to be inducted as the member of the First International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition. He continued to have active participation in organizing PETROTECH-1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005. He was the Chairman of Exhibition Committee of Petrotech 2007 and Sponsorship Committee Petrotech 2010. He has been the Patron of the Association of Petroleum Geologists, International Director of the Energistics, Chairperson of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), New Delhi Section and Chairman of Oceantex World Expo 2010 Offshore Conference and Technology Exposition. He has been Vice President (Youth and Gender) of World Petroleum Council and also President of Indian Geological Congress. He is a life member of the ASCI, Hyderabad.
 
Mr. Amulya Charan
Mr.Amulya Charan Mr. Amulya Charan is a Non-Executive Director of Tata Petrodyne Limited since 2013. 

He retired from active service on 31st May 2013 and has settled in Pune (India). He is now functioning as an independent advisor in the fields of Energy, Infrastructure and Finance. He is on the Board of Directors/Advisory Boards of several companies. He also renders advice to a number of organisations, including, MNCs, Industry Associations and NGOs.

He has an overall experience of about 46 years in various industries ranging from consumer goods, international marketing, joint venture promotion, automotive components, information technology, telecom, power and oil & gas sectors. He has worked in companies such as The Coca Cola Export Corporation, Trade Development Authority, NTPC, Power Grid Corporation, Escorts Communications, Escotel Mobile Communications, Tata AutoComp Systems, ITPL and Tata Power.

He has been with the Tata Group since 1996 and has also been on the Board of several Tata companies. Mr. Charan served as CFO and Head Business Development in Tata Power from 2001 till 2007 and again as Chief Mentor of The Tata Power Company Limited from 2011 until May 2013. He served as Managing Director of Tata Power Trading Company Limited from 2007 until 2011. He served as Group Financial Controller of Tata Autocomp Systems Ltd. and Finance Director & Officiating Chief Executive Officer in the Information Technology Park Ltd., both of which are Tata Group companies. Mr. Charan also served as a Director of Nelco Limited from January 25, 2006 to September 2007.

Mr. Charan holds a B.E. (Mechanical) from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
 
Mr. Sham Vyas Rao

Mr. Rao holds a Master’s degree in Applied Geology, from the University of Bombay. He has 38 years of upstream hydrocarbon experience, transitioning from hands-on Geology and Geophysics to eventually overseeing the entire gamut of E&P activities for ONGC, the largest such organization in India. Over his career at ONGC, S. V. Rao progressed from working as a Field Geologist in the Himalayan Foot Hills belt to Executive Director in charge of Western Offshore Basin and Deep Water Area. He was finally appointed on the Board of the company as Director-Exploration.

Mr. Rao has extensive knowledge of practically all the petroliferous basins in India, including the frontier and emerging basins. He has guided evaluation and acquisition of overseas acreage for ONGC-Videsh Limited (OVL) in 13 countries, including Columbia, Venezuela, Canada, Brazil and Russia. He spearheaded several policy and process initiatives in relation to both conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon resources in the domestic sector.

Mr. Rao had been appointed by the Government of India to be a member of a select panel, Kelkar Committee, with mandate to prepare a roadmap for enhancing domestic production of Oil and Gas and sustainable reduction in Import dependency by 2030.

Dr. Ritu Anand is Senior Vice President and the Deputy Head -Global HR at Tata Consultancy Services. TCS is a $16.5 billion company, employing 350,000 plus people worldwide, 34.5% of which are women. TCS has operations in 50 countries with major presence in India, United States, Continental Europe, UK, China, and Australia. She heads the Talent Management and Diversity functions in TCS. In this diverse role, she oversees key aspects of HR, including compensation & benefits, company policies, career, performance and leadership management.

Besides this, she is associated with leading institutions enhancing her learning in the fields of human resources, leadership and diversity.

She has a Ph.D. in Psychology and has been with the firm for more than 25 years.
